The first day it rained, but we were so exhausted that it was nice to relax, get massages at the spa, read, and regroup. We were shocked at the immodesty of the women here, especially in the spa. Oh MY GOSH!!! It would have been uncomfortable, but wasnt because everyone else was naked too!!! Again, what happens in Sorrento, stays in Sorrento.
It was supposed to rain yesterday, but God heard our prayers and the sun was bright and shining when we woke up. We headed to Capri (CAP ri our pronounciations were corrected constantly) and hiked up the hill, took the chair rail to the very top of the island, and collected sea glass on the rocky coast.
At night we enjoyed the local lemoncello and Cuban cigars while Kara dominated Phase Ten.
Love, love, love it here. We are so sad to leave but are looking forward to Rome and the beauty and history it represents.
Ciao!!!
Hi. Love you and love hearing all your fun times and great experiences. Sounds like you are having the time of your life! So far no info on job interviews or real estate options have been included on your blog. WHEW! MU

It looks so beautiful in Sorrento - should have warned you about the topless beaches, etc... maybe you already knew...Enjoy Rome, I am jealous cause they just discovered what they suspected all alone, a rotating restaurant, up on one of the 7 hills (one of Nero's egotistical inventions)! They won't have it available for you to see but cool anyway! Miss you - hope you have a wonderful Rome experience..see you soon I hope. Love, Mom
ReplyDeleteThe pictures you guys have shared say even more than your words! God is SO good--first, to have made up Italy, and second, to arrange for you guys to experience it. Can't wait for the travelogue:) Maisey says "hi, wish you were here, but having a grand ol' time anyway!" Love you! Mom (Lot's of moms on this blog...)
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see that you are all having such a great time. I wish you could enjoy Italy forever, but can admit that I selfishly can't wait for you to be home! We are praying that God continues to watch over you as you explore and travel. Je t'aime! xox (as the French do)
